Emma-Rose is a truck driver in the British army. She comes home on leave from Afghanistan to her gran and little sister Jenny, who live in a village up on the moors in North Wales. It promises to be a magical week. But as the days slip by Jenny realises that Emma-Rose hasn’t left her demons behind, and will soon return to the army, leaving her again. Jenny’s anger at her imminent loss is the mute, vengeful rage of a lonely 10 year-old girl.
